Practicality, love

Some say love
is a rose
vibrant, gentle,
passionate

poets have likened
love to
a summers day
an ocean breeze
the moon
rain.

I say love
is tartar sauce;
it looks like hell
you have no idea
what it is made of
yet you always
seem to find it

tasty.

    This is great. I love how the first two stanzas take me in and make me feel like this great love poem is going to have a love epiphany in stanza three, but oh no, not from mark, stanza three not only is about tarter sause, it feels like you got pushed head first into a bowl of mystery goo!
