Relish

The passing
of time
speeds
its slowing.

moments that once
flew by now linger
with clarity

this is not what the
sages have stated

it is different for me
for I have refined the
art of savoring

I had to read this twice because when i hit the end i realized that I had read it to fast, thus doing the opposite of what you’re trying to convey. that said it’s very appropriate that it be short

Ah, I do think we grow more conscious as we grow older. Nicely done, Mark.

    A TRIPLE WOW!!!!
The first stanza itself left me speechless and mulling!! And then, the rest was just pure AWESOMENESS!!
Time – that inevitable dimension that seems to last forever, that seems to be fleeting, yet is pretty much moving at the same pace.. on and on… the best we can do, is relish it indeed!
    Brilliant verses… bravo!
